PREDICTIONS FOR USA (2009)

The New Year named virodhi starting on 26 Mar 2009 has Mithuna lagna with ketu in 2^nd in Karakataka, vakri sani in simha in 3^rd, Rahu guru in makara in 8 Th, Mars in 9 Th in kumbha and retrograde Venus, budha, sun and moon in tenth in meena.

There will be great improvement in employment   and recovery of economy the GNP will increase and  financial situation will improve. There may be fall in agricultural produce and foreign policy may take a big beating. The government may be forced to spend heavily on defense and may be forced to go to war even with disastrous results. Industrial productions will increase especially in power and   petrochemical sector. There may be severe differences with the Government on foreign policy and dealing with friends and foes alike. There may be a resignation or death of an important personality in govt. There may be natural disasters and even sabotage attacks with in the country. Mars, Saturn axis leads to major accidents both natural and man-made. There may be outbreak of diseases and biological attacks borne out of water borne diseases. In spite of all these the name of the government and trust in governance will increase and more prosperity for the common man is indicated. Education and research will flourish and the health care will give only partial success more due to the calamities in the health sector than due to the policies. Research will pick up and real break through in many fields will occur. Government sponsored research will gain international name and fame. Defense production will be very good even though the Govt. may face tough situation internationally in defending its policies.

Till  2009-04-20: There will be good gains and victory over opponents. Oil, Power sector and petrochemical industries will show good gains. There may be obstacles and opposition for health programs and increase in natural problems. A prominent industry worker may have serious health problems. Accidents and health disasters are likely.

Merc:  2009-04-20  -  2009-06-25: There will be gains for the government and common man as well. There will be gains in the financial and banking sectors with stability of operations. The recovery efforts will start showing results and there will be over all satisfaction and improvement. The first 100 days of new administration will have a positive and encouraging poll from the public.

Ket:  2009-06-25  -  2009-07-22 There may be shortfall in agricultural output and natural products like minerals dairy etc. This may not be critical but will have negative effect on growth. There may be accidents especially related with water works. Health matters also may cause worry.

Ven:  2009-07-22  -  2009-10-08 : This is the best part of the year with very good results in every activity. Finances will improve greatly and markets will show strong signs of revival.  Another strong and popular personality will be added to the administration giving high credibility. The policies and expenditure will start showing results and proof of financial recovery will be shown in every sector.

Sun:  2009-10-08  -  2009-10-31 The administration will have good name and its fight against opposition will yield very good results. There is very good chance of a prominent for being captured or killed and this gives credibility and success to the efforts and money spent. It will also give a setback to the enemies in their plans for sabotage and terrorism.

Moon:  2009-10-31  -  2009-12-09 There will be very good news for the finances and banking sector and definite proof will be shown in the markets, The Stock indices will get stabilized in positive zone with investor confidence increasing. The unemployment numbers also will come down to the relief of common man. Confidence in financial management will be restored by common man.

Mars:  2009-12-09  -  2010-01-05 Good international deals will be made and defense aid will be used to get the US policies accepted even with opponents, Incidentally this will bring good commerce and income also and defense industries will prosper. There will be good income for US defense industries and airplane industries. Companies like Boeing may    get good orders and good name internationally.

Rah:  2010-01-05  -  2010-03-16  This is a bad period in many ways – for health diseases accidents and even to have terrorist activities and war like situation. US may be forced into taking military action against enemies. It will be forced to act both covertly and openly against many opponents simultaneously and will be using great force.

Jup:  2010-03-16  -  2010-05-17 There may be problems in dealing with partners ands even friends. A prominent public figure may have serious health problem.  The administration may be shocked with some scandals and will be forced to be defensive with its back to the wall. US may have to rewrite the definition of friends and foes afresh.

PREDICTIONS FOR INDIA (2009)

The astrological year called Virodhi from 26 Mar, 2009 to 16 Mar, 2010 is an important year for India with elections being held. The annual chart has Tula lagna with guru and Rahu in 4th , Mars in 5th , Venus sun moon and mercury in 6th , ketu in 10th and sani in 11th.

Lagna lord Venus in exaltation gives over all good for the country with progress but being in 6th with neecha budha, sun and moon it augurs bad in many ways – every step forward bringing two steps backwards. Also neecha guru in 4th with Rahu indicates lack of security and happiness and stability. Enemies make all out efforts  to make for all sorts of problems. There will be accidents and water borne diseases and lots of activities by enemy. If 26/11 is considered as a bad event , India may have to see many more opposition activities. But 7th lord Mars in kona will make for good resolve and defense of the country.

Sani in labhasthana will see the improvement of manufacturing and energy sector. Kuja in 5th will see improvements and good developments of defense and related industries. Power and infra structure industries will gain and give growth in GDP. Real estate and roads etc may not gain correspondingly and in fact may have accidents. Expenditure will be high with increased inflation. In the exchange market Rupee value may fall against many currencies. Water related accidents; incidents involving Navy and  Merchant shipping.  Floods will increase.

Till  2009-04-17:  There will be good improvement in industrial production and increase in GDP. Core industries will perform well and thus give rise to stock markets showing buoyancy and good bullish trends. Energy and petrochemicals will show very good gains.

Merc:  2009-04-17  -  2009-06-12 : The formation of Govt will be a matter of financial bidding of corruption and nepotism with Aya ram Gaya ram politics taking precedence over forming clean and good Government. All sorts of horse trading may occur but finally a Government will be formed even though no single party gets majority.

Ket:  2009-06-12  -  2009-07-05 : There will be some sort of foreign influence on the process of governance leading to unrest and agitation. There may be increase in diseases and allegations on governance and corrupt practices. An influential person of ruling party may be affected by these and may be forced to resign.

Ven:  2009-07-05  -  2009-09-09 : While the budget and government will show good reception the action of enemies will be prominent and the new Govt. has to concentrate more on enemies than on domestic policies. This will be more so in financial dealings with other countries.

Sun:  2009-09-09  -  2009-09-29 : The Rupee value will be beaten and the value may go to all time low. The popularity of the Govt. also will be low and many Governments may oppose governmental policies. The stock markets also may be bearish with foreign investments being cut off drastically.

Moon:  2009-09-29  -  2009-11-01: There may be water based incidents by enemies and these may escalate to a great extent but will not lead to war or defense actions. Tourism / Hospitality industries will be taking a back seat and hence foreign exchange earnings from these sectors may fall. Because of terrorist activities there may be restriction on foreign visitors from their respective governments.

Mars:  2009-11-01  -  2009-11-24: This is a prosperous period with India having a good breakthrough in defense and diplomatic activity. Its power and electronic industries will come to forefront and will earn international respect. There may be major achievement by Govt. in its defense research and production.

Rah:  2009-11-24  -  2010-01-22 : There will be major terrorist activities similar to 26/11 and water related activities will be on the raise. The incidents may occur in water and high seas. Dams and other water based sensitive sites may be the targets of terrorist activities. Water borne diseases  also will be on increase at almost epidemic level.

Jup:  2010-01-22  -  2010-03-16 : There will be problems from enemies and efforts for destabilization. Water bore diseases and contagious diseases will be on increase. There may be differences with even close allies and all efforts are needed to overcome the acts of enemies. Government will be successful in doing so.

ELECTION RESULTS FOR INDIA

Based on Indias Republic day chart and using 360 days a year for vimsottari dasa India is having Rahu MahaDasa and  Venus Antar Dasa till 2009-10-20. This is crucial period for election results. While being lagna adhipati antar dasa this should do good over all for the democracy to prevail but with neecha guru and sun it may produce lots of hiccups in elections and formation of government. Infact the fractured UPA may be realigned and formed with new alliances. There may be totally new equations and new alliances formed which were not envisaged before the elections. Still it is likely that the congress getting the highest number of seats for a single party will be able to rope in unexpected partners to form the govt.

In the Independence chart sun mahadasa moon antar is running in the crucial election time from   2009-02-04 to  2009-08-03. Moon in its own house is very good for stable government and democracy but its association with sani may give some problems in a single party / alliance getting majority. But with lagna lord yoga karaka sani being with own house moon, sun and budha will make for a good government formation with many minor and small parties joining together.

Sun maha dasa Mars antar from 2009-08-03  to  2009-12-07 may see major problems for the Govt both from external sources and internally. There may be a second life for the Govt with new alliances and possibly with changed ministry. Overall the elections will sustain the democracy and augur well for the country.

The Govt may again pass a critical period in sun maha dasa  Rahu antar from

2009-12-07  -  2010-10-27. The next elections in 2014 should see the formation of a very good government with clear majority.
