US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS – ASTROLOGICAL PREDICTIONS

United States has presidential elections on November 4, 2008. As on date three candidates seem to be ahead in the race. A former first lady and spouse of charismatic couple who if wins will be first lady US president. A highly decorated and service oriented formal naval officer and a first time Afro American with Charisma for change. While the birth times of the candidates is not known accurately, known facts of their lives are taken to see if they fit the birth time calculated assuming that the birth dates are correct. They are Ms Hillary Clinton born on 26 Oct 1947, Mr Barack Obama; born on 4 Aug1961 for democratic party who are running neck to neck in the primaries and Mr John McCain born on 29 Aug 1936 for Republican party.  Their charts and life events are discussed below.

PREDICTIONS FOR MS. HILLARY CLINTON

Born on 26 Oct 1947, 20 Hrs at Chicago. The planetary positions for this are :  Mithuna lagna with Mars and Saturn in 2nd in Karkataka , Sun Mercury and Venus in 5 th in Tula, Jupiter and Ketu in 6 th in Vruschika , Moon in 10 th in Meena and Rahu in 12 th in Vrushabha. In Bhava Kuja and Sani move to third  which means if the time is correct she must have loss of siblings. The major events in her life with astrological periods are discussed below:

Mercury  Mars – Lagna maha dasa and the rasi lord of 7 th– Lagna maha dasa and 7 th lord antar.

Venus Venus forming  - Guru and Bhrugu Chandala yogas in Bhava with 7 th lord

Venus Mars in 1992 Mars in neecha in kutumba sthana.

Tenth lord Guru  in 6 th  with Kuja and sani in 2nd.

Guru Sani – Guru as tenth lord is aspecting 9 th lord sani forming Bhagya Rajya adhipati yoga and it is seen that while guru is not giving full benefit as tenth lord sani is giving her good results.  It is worthwhile to note that the graha bala of guru is very low at 67 % while sani and kuja in 3^rd are forming vipareeta raja yoga especially will do good as they are in vikrama sthana in Bhava.

Venus Mars – As mentioned in earlier point all the good to be done by 7th and tenth lord are transferred to Kuja and sani.

Venus Guru -  As mentioned Guru is weak and doing only bad.

Venus Sani – Sani is Bhagya Rajya adhipati yoga.

ANALYSIS

In navamsa Mars is exalted , Budha and Venus are in their own house with guru in tenth as lagna and fourth lord. Second house of speech having exalted Mars and own house venus in 6 th has naturally given her great fame as a lawyer but Rahu and Mars in kutumba sthana indicates the erratic behaviour of her husband about marriage. The present periods ( based on savana year of 360 days a year) is Sun guru  from Feb 5 2008 to Nov 19 2008 and Sun sani from Nov 19 2008 to Oct 2009 .

Assuming different birth times and accordingly diffrent lagnas , for any lagna with Kuja and sun being in neecha either Kuja or Sun - only one of them will be having neecha bhanga raja yoga. Thus while her popularity was on raise till Feb 5 2008 , it was down hill movement only,  in all primaries from then.

This period of guru which has given problems throughout her life continues to be her waterloo, and there seems to be no way that she can win the election, even in the unlikely position of her being nominated as democratic candidate.

Her best hope is to become a vice presidential candidate for Mr Obama when  their combined strengths can catapult them to winning the election. This is more so as the period will be Sun Sani from Nov 19 2008 to Oct 2009 .

 PREDICTIONS FOR MR. BARACK OBAMA

Born on 4 Aug 1961, at 13:06:00 at   Honolua, Hawaii, USA. The planetary positions are : Tula lagna with guru and sani in 4 th in makara, Ketu in 5 th , Moon in exaltation in vrushabha, Venus in 9 th in Mithuna, Sun and Budha in tenth in Karkataka, and Mars and  rahu in 11 th in Simha. The major events in his life with astrological periods are discussed below:

  Rahu guru as 3rd lord in 3rd with 4 th lord

  Rahu Venus - Strong Venus   aspecting 2nd

  Rahu Venus - Strong Venus in own house. rahu in 11 th.

  Rahu Moon - Tenth lord Moon in exaltation with Rahu in 10 th in bhava.

  Guru ketu - Strong guru. Lord of ketus house with Guru

  Guru Venus - Both strong in own houses

  Guru Moon - Own house Guru , exalted 10 th lord Moon

  Guru Venus - Both strong in own houses

  Guru Guru and Guru sani - Fifth lord sani with strong guru

ANALYSIS

Tula lagna with guru and sani in 4 th in makara, Ketu in 5 th , Moon in exaltation in vrushabha, Venus in 9 th in Mithuna, Sun and Budha in tenth in Karkataka, and Mars and  rahu in 11 th in Simha.  

Tenth lord Moon is in exaltation and tenth has 9 th lord budha and 11 th  lord sun with sun being very powerful with over 190 % strength. These are aspected by yoga  karaka sani and Guru which is in neecha bhnaga raja yoga. In bhava Guru and sani moves to  third,  Moon to 7 th , Venus to own 8 th , Budha  to own 9 th a, rahu to 10 th - all forming very good combinations.

In Navamsa Lagna lord venus and 7 th lord Mars are in 8 th with 4 th lord sun Budha in exaltation in own 5 th, Sani in own 10 th and Guru in own 12 th with Moon. All these good combinations to get him the democratic nomination and win the election. The present period is Jupr MahaDasa Sun antar from Dec 11 2007 to Sep 24 2008 - all  indicating the great power of sun in tenth - which is making him moving from strength  to strength.  

During election time he is having the antar dasa of Moon the tenth lord in exaltation from Sep 24 2008 to Jan 17 2010.

Thus the combinations and periods are very favourable for him to get the democratic  nomination and win the election.

With many common features in his chart with those of Ms Clinton - it will be a great strategic and winning move to have Ms Clinton as running Vice president to achieve the change he is advocating - from Republican to democratic rule - with first time Afro American president and lady vice president.

 PREDICTIONS FOR MR. JOHN MCCAIN

Born on 29  Aug 1936 at 9 Am at Coco Solo, Panama. He has Kanya lagna with exalted lagna lord Budha in lagna, guru in 3rd in Vruschika, Rahu in 4 th in Dhanus, Moon in 5 th makara, Sani in 6 th in own kumbha,Ketu in tenth, Mars in neecha in 11 th karkataka and sun and venus in 12 th simha. In bhava Rahu comes to 3rd , Moon to 4 th, Ketu to 9 th and Budha to 12 th.

John McCain has a remarkable record of leadership and experience that embodies his unwavering lifetime commitment to service. The major events in his life with astrological periods are discussed below:

Sun in own 12 th house with 9 th lord Venus.

Joined in Rahu Guru - indicating all the problems he faced in Career but both in vikrama sthana in bhava leading to many honours.

Rahu Venus to rahu Mars - Rahu in sukha sthana and Mars in necha. Venus in Vyaya sthana.

Guru Mahadasa 1973. Guru in 3rd with Rahu in bhava. In navamsa budha is in neecha in 7 th with neecha bhanga raja yoga aspected by Mars. Guru is in neecha in navamsa as 7 th lord.

ANALYSIS

He has exalted lagna lord in lagna , 8 th lord in neecha, sani and sun in own houses indicating the high order of service and commitment. Mars as 8 th lord in neecha indicates the tribulations as POW.

 In navamsa lagna and tenth lord budha is in neecha with out any neecha bhanga raja yoga and 7 th lord is also in neecha but with neecha bhanga raja yoga. Sani and Rahu in 10 th are quite powerful but not enough to make him a president.

In drekkana 22 nd Drekkana lord kuja in his own house even in drekkana indicates his suffering and valour and twist with death.

Budha maha dasa starting April 2008 is powerfil enough ( 133 %) to get him nominated as presidential candidate but it is not strong enough - especially Budhas neecha in navamsa to win the election The incumbent opposition also works against him.
